Dan Harris

President of the Board and Executive Director of My City Youth since 1997 Dan has been worked in various trades such as construction, auto painting and electrical maintenance. He founded the non-profit Youth for Truth International for Him in 1997 to travel internationally and lead summer camps for young people. My City Youth Center developed from this ministry and was relocated to its current location in 2013. Over the last seven years, the Center has seen exponential growth offering a free after school program and teen parent program to the communities of Hemet and San Jacinto.

Mike Richards

Vice President of the Board Board Member since 2009 Mike is a retired high school counselor for the Hemet Unified School District. He spend 37 years with San Jacinto School district as a teacher, coach of the varsity baseball team, and women’s soccer coach. Mike is also an elder at Calvary Chapel Valle Vista Church.

Danelle Nagy

Chairperson of the Board Board Member for since 2010 Danelle is a local elementary school teacher who also serves on the School Leadership Team and District Planning Team. She received Hemet Unified School District’s Teacher of the Year award for the 2016-2017 school year.

Vivian Aguirre

Secretary of the Board Board member since 2011 Vivian is a dedicated wife, mom and homemaker. She moved with her family into the Hemet/San Jacinto Valley in 1990.

Becky Harris

Chief Financial Officer of the Board and Executive Director of the Teen Parent Program at My City Youth Board Member since 1997 Becky worked as a cosmetologist and bookkeeper for many years until she started the Teen Parent Program at My City Youth. Now she spends her time encouraging and helping teen parents figure out their next steps.

Dedric Lewis

Board member since 2017 Fundraising Committee Member Dedric is a retired and decorated Master Sergeant for the United States Marine Corps. He currently serves the Hemet and San Jacinto Valleys as a personal trainer for Bastion Fitness, LLC.

Robert Lortz

Board Member since 2010 Robert currently serves the Hemet and San Jacinto Valleys as the Executive Director of Liberty Ranch Men’s Home, an International Missions Leader, and self-employed contractor.

Terry Yeager

Board member since 2015 Terry is a retired owner of Harvest Shared Food and Produce Co. He has also been highly involved in the Hemet and San Jacinto communities through the Hemet/San Jacinto Exchange Club where he served a term as president, was elected Person of the Year and was instrumental in forming the Exchange Club/Valley Wide Fundraising Foundation. He has also served as the Inland Empire Chapter Secretary for the American Culinary Society.

Carl Smith

Board member since 2019 Fundraising Committee Member Carl is one of the many success stories for My City Youth Center. As a teen, Carl was highly involved in our programs and is now giving back to the youth of our communities. As an entrepreneur, Carl started NOI Water Treatment Company to provide families with clean water in their home.

Eric Dickson

Board Member since January 2020 Lieutenant Eric Dickson started at the Hemet Police Department in 1997. He has served HPD in various departments including but not limited to the Crime Suppression Unit, Crisis Negotiations Team, and Internal Affairs. He currently oversees the Restoring Our Community Strategy (R.O.C.S) team, Traffic Bureau, School Resource officers, Post Release Accountability Compliance Team, and the Office of Professional Standards.
