The art program is one of the most popular programs; wait lists for participation have grown, creating the need to increase the number of classes offered. Art Coordinator, Nancy Espensen is a truly passionate and gifted teacher who inspires participants through mixed media, hands-on engagement, and other artistic techniques. From sculpting to line art, participants are taught about the masters of art, current and past artistic styles, and how to develop art using their knowledge, imaginations, and a variety of creative materials.

A representation of completed projects for with various media each class are featured in community art showings at the local mall. Through this program, participants gain an appreciation for a variety of art forms and hands on experience--and for some, it will be the beginning of a lifelong hobby or career.
